Show Gratitude...

Gratitude is a fundamental part of mindfulness and teaching children to appreciate the abundance in their lives as opposed to focusing on what they've not got is a key skill to happiness.  You can practise gratitude in many ways from starting a gratitude journal to discussing 2 things at the dinner table that you and your child are grateful for that day to making a thank you card for a friend or teacher.  Try it and see how it makes you feel.
