This week ended with a huge celebration for our 67th birthday. The idea of a party was decided by the school council who have been heavily involved with organising the event supported by Mrs Burns (THANK YOU MRS BURNS!) The party was a massive success with each class running their own stall plus a huge inflatable obstacle course that all the children got to play on throughout the school day plus dressing up! The sun shone and we had a Human fruit machine, Hook a duck, Pie face to name but a few. The smiles on our children's face told us how much fun they were having and it really was a true reflection of what a wonderful school Sauncey Wood is. A huge thank you to the FOSW who gave every child a Sauncey Wood water bottle as a thank you and for their support on the day selling refreshments. Thank you to the staff and children for embracing this event and enjoying the afternoon! Thank you to everyone who came and spent money and supported the event too!
