The meeting was attended by Bridgett Pymm (Chair), Helen Fitzakerly, Liz Redway, Paul Rutherford (our new parent governor) and Jade Harkness in place of Steve Lloyd.

The committee discussed various premises items, the health and safety audit and finance of the school. There was feedback following governor day over school dinners, snacks and tuck shop, to ensure we promote healthy eating as much as possible.

Communication was discussed, and it was agreed further work was to be done in promoting the uptake of pupil premium funding (those eligible for free school meals), the blogs written by teachers and information on the use of social media. Governors will again be at parent consultation evenings, encouraging parents to log their view on ParentView.
