The children and staff of Sauncey Wood had great fun celebrating World Book Day. The chidlren were invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. The staff joined in too! There were some amazing costumes on display. The children took part in a range of learning experiences linked to World Book Day including a 'book swap', whole school assembly and designing and making their own books. In the evening, the children were invited back to school in their pyjamas for our 'Bedtime Stories' event. The Friends of Sauncey Wood provided hot chocolate and marshmallows and the children were treated to a variety of bedtime stories read by the staff. A great time was had by all.
