Governors present approved the appointment from September 2014 of Mrs C Thomas to the role of Deputy Head of the school.

Governors focused on the results from the Parents Questionnaire and agreed on how best to communicate their work with parents / carers going forward. Governors discussed how to take forward feedback from the recent good Ofsted inspection, incorporating targets into the Schools Development Plan.

Governors discussed plans for the Annual Governor Day on 17th September. Governors considered the optimal ways in which they can work alongside the school, visits to classes, and meetings with teachers. Governors were very impressed with Mr Burt's report on the excellent Key Stage 2 results.
