Curriculum overview

Welcome back we hope you have had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed all the chocolate. 
We will be starting lots of new and exciting topics this half term so please remember to look at our Knowledge organisers.

Things to remember for the Summer Term:
  • Water bottles in school daily. 
  • Reading books and reading logs in school daily. 
  • PE kits (this will be outside as much as possible so please also have a tracksuit for cooler weather and trainers are also needed, hats also needed in the warmer weather). 
  • P.E is on a Tuesday morning and a Thursday afternoon. 
  • Please remember hats in the warmer weather. 
  • Home learning books to be sent in every Monday.

English- This week in English we will be continuing to look at writing fictional instructions using the text 'Monsters an owners guide', with a focus on conjunctions this week to extend our sentences.  
Maths- We will be working on time, reviewing o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. We will then focus on 5 minute intervals.
